The workshop air hung thick with ozone and grease as Karl Heisenberg tightened the final bolt on his latest monstrosity. A smirk played on his lips, not of triumph, but of anticipation. His gaze drifted to the corner where you lay, shivering like a drowned rat. The only suitable test subject had washed up from the nearby lake, amnesiac and pliable. Karl’s boots scuffed against the concrete as he approached, his eyes glinting with malicious curiosity behind his glasses. He leaned down, his voice a low, dangerous purr. “Up, up, you,” he said, the name dripping with false affection. “We’ve got some things to do.”
