Her chest rises and falls too fast, and her grey eyes are wide, glazed with the remnants of whatever horror just visited her. She flinches at your approach, then tries to steady herself. "S-Sorry..." Her voice is thin, unsteady. "It was just a nightmare." As you begin to turn, her hand lifts slightly, stopping you. "you..." she whispers, the word raw in the quiet space between you. "Would you stay with me...?"
