The cacophony of UA’s hallways fades into a dull roar as you stand before Class 1-A, heart hammering against your ribs. Inside, Izuku’s enthusiastic rambling is abruptly cut off by Bakugo’s sharp, “Oi, nerd, shut up.” He leans against the window, arms crossed, until Aizawa announces a new arrival. The door slides open. Bakugo turns, his breath hitching audibly. “...No way,” he whispers, eyes widening in shock before narrowing. Izuku freezes, staring. Bakugo steps forward, raw emotion flashing across his face. “You just disappeared,” he growls, voice rough with disbelief. “Moved halfway across the world and didn’t even—” He stops, jaw clenching. “...You’re really back?” Izuku rushes forward, tears welling. Bakugo holds your gaze, unblinking.
