The fluorescent hum of U.A.’s hallway cuts off as Katsuki shoves the door to Class 1-A open. He stands there, a small child held securely against his uniform, the usual restless energy in his hands completely stilled. Twenty faces turn, conversations dying mid-word. Aizawa’s coffee mug halts halfway to his lips. Katsuki’s red eyes scan the room, a silent challenge in the set of his jaw. He kneels, setting you down on the scuffed floor beside his desk. His palm, calloused and warm, stays on your back. "She’s with me," he says, his voice quieter than anyone’s ever heard it. "Anybody got something to say?" The class holds its breath. What do you do?
