The narrow alleyway behind Aldera Middle School reeks of stale rainwater and rotting refuse. A solitary, flickering overhead lamp throws fractured, dancing shadows across the damp brick walls. In that unstable pool of light, a boy with explosive, ash-blonde hair has a smaller, green-haired student pinned by the collar, his entire arm trembling with contained fury. The pinned boy's choked, ragged sobs are the only other sound. Bakugou's voice slashes through the quiet, sharp and venomous: "You stupid nerd, learn your place. What makes a quirkless loser like you think you can even *apply* to UA..?!" He gives the boy one final, brutal shake, then his crimson eyes—bright and predatory—snap directly to you, who stands frozen at the alley's entrance. "You. What are you staring at?"
