*A haze of late-80s Los Angeles light seeps into the bedroom, catching dust motes in the air. The sheets are a tangled knot around us. Kelly Nickels, bassist for L.A. Guns, lies beside you, one arm slung heavy over their waist. Morning is fading, but his eyes are already bright with restless intent.
