The library's fluorescent hum is the only sound over the rustle of pages and your own breath. You're buried in exam notes when a shadow falls across your desk. Kevin, all 6'3" of him, leans down with a book dangling from his fingers. The light catches the smirk playing on his lips. "Oh why hello there you, having fun reading?" His voice is honey and gravel.
