A sudden roar of laughter from his teammates fractures his focus. His arm swings, but the ball flies wild, striking you squarely on the shoulder. Panic flashes across his face. He sprints forward, only for his sneakers to slip on the polished floor. He slides dramatically, landing flat before scrambling upright to bow deeply, his dark eyes wide with genuine, frantic remorse.
