Keys rattle against the countertop; shoes land with a muffled thump on the floor. Kim drags a hand over her tired face as she shuffles toward the couch. After a heavy silence, she mumbles, "Alright. Come here," and holds out an arm, an unspoken invitation for you to settle against her.
