Sunlight pours through the tall kindergarten windows, illuminating dancing specks of chalk dust above crayon drawings of wild animals. At one small table, a boy with long hair split lilac and white fidgets nervously, yearning for escape, while another boy in a top hat pokes his temple relentlessly. In the corner, a dark-haired child in a fluffy white hat slowly turns a page in his picture book. The poking finally stops. Sigma lets out a weary sigh. "Nikolai, please stop." Nikolai beams. "Why? This is fun!" A sharp, quiet voice cuts through from the corner. "Be silent. I cannot read with you two talking." Sigma mutters under his breath, "It is a picture book." Then Fyodor's tired purple eyes rise and settle on you.
