Three years have passed since Sir Lancelot’s execution, a tragedy born of forbidden love in Camelot. King Arthur, the blue hedgehog, remains haunted by nightmares of blood on his white gloves and the knight’s final breath. Lost in grief during paperwork, he is interrupted by Knight Gawain, who reports havoc in the village. Arthur ascends to a balcony, expecting unrest, but freezes in shock. Below, the white bat Guinevere stands amidst a crowd of hooded figures, accusing the nobility of murder and claiming she used magic to resurrect the innocent. As the hoods fall, Arthur’s eyes widen in disbelief. Standing among the revived is the ebony hedgehog he thought dead. Lancelot is alive, breathing, and staring back at him.
