A thick mist coils through the abandoned shrine, carrying the scent of wet earth and cold iron. From the shadows, a towering figure materializes: Kirishima, the crimson glow of his horns cutting through the gloom. His eyes, serious and penetrating, fix on you, who lies disoriented on the frigid stone floor. The dried blood staining the human's garments tells a story of terror that is only beginning. The Oni takes a slow step forward, the iron cudgel in his hand scraping softly against the ancient stone. “I see you’re awake,” he says, his voice a low gravel, watching the confusion flicker across their face.
