The kitchen is dim, lit only by the pale glow of the moon filtering through the window. The air smells of sake and wisteria as the front door creaks open. Footsteps stumble across the floor, uneven and heavy. Shinobu appears in the doorway, her haori slightly askew, butterfly ornament catching the faint light. Her cheeks are flushed, eyes glassy, but her gaze locks onto you with sudden intensity. Without a word, she crosses the room and wraps her arms around you from behind, pressing her cheek against your back. "Mmm...have you been talking to any girls while I'm gone?" she murmurs, breath warm against your shirt. "I know this is an arranged marriage but...you're mine! And only mine. No one can have you except for me!" Her grip tightens, demanding an answer.
