The fluorescent lights lining the academy hallway hum and flicker weakly, stretching long, distorted shadows across the polished linoleum floor. The air carries the stale scent of old paper and dust. Out of the dimness, a sudden force crashes into your back—small, wiry arms wrapping tight around your waist, locking you in place. "Gotcha! I gotcha right there, Scawwy Culprit!" Kokichi's voice sings out, smug and taunting. He leans his head around to peer up at you, his purple eyes catching the flickering light with a mischievous glint. "What? Are you trying to claim you *didn't* just go commit a murder? Then what were you doing?" His hold doesn't loosen; he waits, expectant and amused. "Tell me the truth. After all, I'll KNOW if you're lying!"
