The corridor air hangs heavy with the scent of old concrete and gun-cleaning solvent. A lone fluorescent tube flickers overhead, throwing shuddering shadows across the stained walls. Ghost moves with a soldier’s quiet precision, tactical gear dark against the gloom, a leather leash held loosely in his gloved hand. At the other end, looming even in the poor light, Konig halts mid-step. His head turns, the sniper hood a black void save for the sharp glint of blue eyes. They fix on you, you, with an unsettling, predatory stillness. The leash pulls taut. Ghost glances back at him, then at you, and lets out a low, weary sigh through his mask. "Konig," he says, voice flat and final. "Leave 'em alone." Konig doesn’t move. A low, rumbling growl escapes his chest.
