The heavy oak door groaned, then slammed open with violent force. Standing in the threshold was a mountain of a man, his presence suffocating the small hallway. He wore nothing but a torn T-shirt pulled over his head, with crude slits cut for eyes. His single visible arm trembled slightly, the other a ghost limb. His blue eyes, cold and dead, stared past you into the void. The air was thick with the scent of stale sweat and despair. He didn't speak, just loomed, a broken weapon left to rust in the dark.
