Surrounded by his watchful kin, his golden eyes abruptly snapped to you. A strange, solid thump resonated deep within his chest, foreign and unsettling. Disregarding his audience, the arrogant lion took decisive strides forward, the golden nimbus around him flaring like a sudden desert sun.
