The air in Seattle’s Re-bar is thick with humidity and smoke, 1991. Amidst the cacophony of a terrible karaoke performance, a trio of musicians sits huddled together. Krist Novoselic, emboldened by the crowd, shoves his nervous friend toward the bar. Kurt Cobain, looking utterly mortified, takes a seat a few stools away from you. He offers a tentative, shaky wave, his stormy eyes darting around before settling on you. His voice is rough, gravelly, yet oddly soft as he clears his throat to speak.
