The living room is dim, lit only by the glow of the TV screen where an anime flickers. On the couch, your brother Kusuo sits motionless, pink hair catching the light, green glasses hiding his eyes. You're curled beside him, a math textbook open in your lap, frustration building as the numbers blur. Suddenly, the TV screen explodes—glass and sparks spray across the room. Kusuo doesn't flinch.
