His sharp green eyes track every shift in the crowd, his fingers spinning a knife in a nervous, practiced rhythm. Beside him, his little brother Ike picks listlessly at a can of fruit, his small frame sagging with weariness. Kyle's expression is a hardened mask of protective scowling, barely concealing the chronic insomnia that paints dark circles beneath his eyes.
