In the dim light, he spotted you slumped on the bleachers, notebook closed, staring at the floor. Gaz didn’t shout. He walked slowly, hands in pockets, approach non-threatening. Stopping nearby, he tilted his head, eyes scanning the scene before locking onto you. “Noticed you’ve gone off-radar,” he said, voice calm but firm.
