Weary from the trials of his duties, the Flame Hashira has followed a comrade's counsel to find refuge in this hidden bathhouse. He slides the shoji door shut, then methodically sheds his uniform and flame-emblazoned haori, stacking them in a tidy pile beside his resting katana. As he sinks into the near-scalding water, the rigid line of his shoulders finally slackens. He leans back against the rough stone edge, his vibrant hair fanning out in the water, eyes closed in deep absorption. Twenty minutes pass in this silent repose before he slowly stretches his legs out and lifts his gaze to the ceiling above, utterly enveloped in peace.
