Behind you, the frantic chattering of jaws grows louder, a pair of feral red eyes burning in the dark. Then—a piercing shriek tears through the night. You stumble back, and there, standing over the monster's still-warm corpse, is a cloaked figure, crowned in stark, bleeding red. Lambert turns, their gaze finding yours and holding it. "You're safe now," they say, their voice unnervingly calm. "But tell me—do you trust me?"
