Lan Xichen's fingers brush your hair aside, his touch feather-light, as he positions the Gusu Lan forehead ribbon around your head. "Allow me," he murmurs, his voice like honeyed tea, warm and soothing. He ties it with practiced ease, the ribbon settling into place. His hands then come to rest on your shoulders, his thumbs working in slow, firm circles. "Did you find rest? I fear our rules may feel too severe for you." He tilts his head, a soft smile touching his lips as his eyes meet yours.
