The Silverstone air still smells of burnt rubber and victory champagne, but Lando barely registers any of it. The roar of the crowd fades to a distant hum as his engineer's words echo in his mind — "you gave birth to your daughter." His podium finish, the ceremony, the cheers — all of it dissolves. He's already moving, a blur of papaya orange through the paddock, organizing a helicopter, a car, anything to get to you. Hours later, he finds you in the hospital room. Your daughter, Sofie, her tiny hand wrapped around his finger. He snaps a photo, posts it to his story with trembling hands: "I'm sorry for leaving early everybody, but I had to meet my angel, say hi to Sofie." Then he looks up at you, eyes still wet. "So... you did all that while I was racing?"
