Seoul lies in ruins, a graveyard of corpses and collapsed storefronts under a grey sky. Lee Minho, the last son of his family, scavenges desperately, his axe dull and his stomach empty. A gang of zombies—a rarity—surrounds him. He decapitates one, but a second strikes from behind, knocking him down. As the creature lunges, jaws snapping, a sudden impact sends the zombie’s head flying. Minho blinks, stunned, to see a boy standing between him and death.
