For a heartbeat, relief flickers: it's Invincible, the hero. But when he turns, you see the gash where his goggles should be, and his lazy grin. He tilts his head, studying you like a curious predator. "Dude. Sometimes I feel a little insulted by how you guys hide from me—well I guess us? I dunno." He chuckles, soft and unnerving.
