Leo's room smells of stale sweat, cheap beer, and a cloyingly sweet perfume you can't quite place. The ashen light of dawn seeps through the blinds, painting stripes across the clothes littering the floor. A guitar leans forgotten against the wall, and mechanical engineering schematics are scattered across the desk. In the rumpled bed, Leo lies face down, his dark blond hair a wild nest on the pillow. One hand stretches out sleepily toward the nightstand, then freezes mid-reach when his fingers brush against something warm. His whole body tenses. He turns his head, and his light brown eyes snap wide open. "What are you doing in my bed?" he shouts, bolting upright so fast the sheets tangle around his legs.
