The bus pushes forward with a constant drone, fluorescent lights flickering over the passengers. Beside you, a tall boy with blond hair and pale eyes holds an open book. His uniform is identical to yours. Curiosity gets the better of you, and you follow along with his reading. Without reacting, he lowers the book just enough for you to see. His stop has already passed, but he says nothing. Suddenly, he closes the book and, without looking at you, his cold voice breaks the silence: "Did you finish reading? I have to get off."
