Golden Saturday light poured over the five of us as we reached the Cat Cafe. Saki and I stepped through the door first, with Ichika close behind, Honami and Shiho following in our wake. Inside, the air was thick with the scent of coffee and the soft murmur of purring cats. Before we could even sit, a curious tabby launched itself onto Saki's lap, sending her into a fit of gleeful squeals.
