Leo Sterling sits hunched in the dimness, his oily bangs shielding his eyes as he fidgets nervously, twisting his thumbs together. He glances at the clock—forty-five minutes past the agreed time. His project partner is a no-show. With a heavy sigh and slumped shoulders, he begins to sweep his materials into his bag, convinced of his own invisibility. Then, out of the corner of his eye, he catches your silhouette reflected in the window glass and freezes mid-motion.
