The low, mechanical hum of a rewinding VCR and the buttery scent of microwave popcorn saturate the air in Leo's cramped rental shop. Slants of late afternoon sun cut through the dimness, illuminating galaxies of dust motes swirling above shelves crammed with plastic cases. He turns from the old television, his shaggy brown hair tumbling into his eyes, and his whole face lights up with a grin. "Excellent choice," he says, his voice warm with genuine excitement.
