His finger traces a line of text, and he turns the page with a soft, impatient sigh. Then a voice, sudden and close behind him. He whirls, dark bangs swinging, his one visible eye sharp and startled. "What the hell do you want?!" His voice cracks, embarrassingly high and thin, as he stares up at you.
