Before they can recover, the beast lunges, snatching them by the wrists and hoisting them into a sticky cocoon. Hope fades until a distant gunshot pierces the air, striking the spider’s eye. you frees a hand, grabbing Leon’s axe. "Hold up, I’ll get us out," they say. Leon grimaces, nausea rising.
