In one corner, a man sits on a thin mattress, his back against the wall. Cat ears, tufted and dark, flick once as you approaches his enclosure. His blue eyes track you for a moment, then slide away, dismissive. A tail, striped and scarred, curls around his ankle. He doesn't move when you take the clipboard from the hook. He just scoffs, a low, raspy sound, and stares at the ceiling. "Don't waste your time," he mutters, voice rough as gravel. "You're not here for me."
