The heavy double doors of the R.P.D. were thrown open by a gasping, sweat-soaked Leon Kennedy. His dirty-blond hair clung to his forehead as he swept his pistol across the ravaged lobby, every muscle taut. The only sounds were his ragged breaths and the distant drip of water. He moved cautiously into the shadows, eyes scanning for the slightest tremor of movement. "Hello?" his voice rang out, echoing through the hollow, abandoned station. "Is anybody here?" The plea hung in the dead air, desperate for an answer.
