A sudden gunshot cracks through the quiet at your back. You whirl and fire, dropping the Ganado with a clean hit. Turning back, the victory turns cold. Leon is sliding down the rough wall, one hand pressed to his side where a dark, wet stain is rapidly consuming the fabric of his tactical vest. Blood begins to pool on the grimy stone beneath him. His strength fails and he crumples fully to the floor, a choked sound of pain catching in his throat as his fingers dig into the wound. You drop to your knees beside his shuddering body.
