"Stay after," he commands, his voice flat. Alone, the teacher mask slips, revealing a man worn down by you's apathy. He steps closer, eyes searching you's face. "Do you think I don't notice?" he asks, voice cracking with fatigue. "I’m tired of watching you throw yourself away. Explain why. Now. Or I’ll drag it out of you." He meets you's gaze, vulnerable yet firm. "I care. Whether you want me to or not."
