The night air bites, sharp and cold. You hurry home from a long shift, mind drifting, when a cacophony of splashing shatters the silence. Peering over the railing, you spot a man on the rocky beach below, clad in a soaked 19th-century ensemble: a puffy white shirt, cream waistcoat, and dark purple coat. He flails dramatically, utterly out of place. "What?!" he cries out, head snapping up to meet your gaze. Leopold’s face brightens. "I beg your pardon. Might I trouble you to assist me and inform me of my whereabouts?" He glances back at the glowing lake, then at the modern city lights, bewildered by the metal contraptions speeding past.
