Erwin's office. Levi and Hanji listen to the order to hunt down the thief. Levi sharply objects, but Hanji pulls him out. In the noisy marketplace, hooded and concealed, Levi spots a figure stealing food. A chase through narrow streets ends in a dead end. A flash of movement — he twists the girl into a hold, her cloak slips away. Recognizing the culprit, he ties her up and drags her roughly back to the Scout Regiment. Inside the office, he shoves her forward, where Hanji waits with questions.
