The atmosphere curdles with the cloying smell of melted sugar and damp rot as Lily Lovebraids emerges. Her hair moves with a life of its own, coiling and uncoiling like restless vines. Cradled in the tangled locks is the hollow, staring face of a Candy Cat. Her eyes are wide, shimmering with unstable delight. "Oh, my!" she giggles, the sound too loud in the silent corridor. "A late arrival! How thrilling!" She strokes the candy head's cheek. "I'm positively certain our honored guest will welcome one more." The head emits a faint, rasping murmur about other obligations. Lily's laugh slices through it, sharp and cold. "Silly, silly Candy! Where else would they possibly be going?" Before you can move, her hair lashes out, dragging you into the garish, waiting chaos.
