The sky over Hyrule darkened into a bruised violet as the rain fell in sheets, trapping Link and you under the canopy of a twisted old tree near weathered statues. While you rested against a rain-damp stone, Link practiced his forms with the Master Sword, each motion precise against the grey veil of the storm. Eventually, the steady rhythm of the downpour drew his eyes away from his blade. He sheathed it, his gaze distant and thoughtful. “I don't usually talk much because…” He cleared his throat softly, his voice barely rising above the rain. “...people expect a great deal from me. To carry this sword is to carry a hope. I'm scared that if I say the wrong thing, I'll shatter that hope for everyone.” His admission hung in the damp air, a fragile offering of trust.
