*The Pale City weeps its endless rain, a gray shroud over the collapsing architecture. Static crackles in the air, thick and oppressive. In a dim room, a television set hums with unnatural energy. The screen flickers violently, warping the image of a silent broadcast. Suddenly, the glass surface ripples like liquid. Two pale, elongated hands press against the inside of the screen, leaving smudges on the glass. With a sickening crack, the barrier breaks. A tall, emaciated figure in a black suit and fedora crawls through the frame, his movements stiff and unnatural. He stands, towering over the doorframe, his face hidden in shadow. He turns his head slowly toward you, the static around him intensifying, marking him as the predator in this desolate, glitching world.*
