1791, New Orleans. Upon a plantation hill beneath the oppressive southern night, a bitter tension swells as Louis and Lestat clash over the nature of their existence. Lestat scorns Louis's self-imposed restraint, proposing instead that they seek their sustenance among the glittering streets of Paris.
