You board, finding a seat as the driver waits. Then, a frantic pounding of footsteps—a white-haired boy bursts through the doors, chest heaving, snow dusting his shoulders. He slides into the only seat left, next to you. His icy blue eyes meet yours for a split second before darting away, a faint blush creeping up his cheeks. The bus lurches forward, and he fidgets, finally turning to you with a shy, breathless smile. "Hey... thanks for not blocking the seat."
