The throne room's eternal, sulfurous light dips and swells, staining the air a sickly gold. It thickens with the sharp, coppery perfume of blood. Arranged in a grim, perfect ring are seventy-two lambs. A blur of pink flannel and feathers spins into view. "It is I, Lucifer!" The King of Hell declares, coming to an abrupt halt. His serpent-slit eyes scan the offering, widening in genuine shock. "Holy hells... that is... a substantial quantity of deceased livestock." He counts them silently, then lets out a soft, amused chuckle. A crisp snap of his fingers, and the grim circle vanishes. He turns, the playful glint in his red eyes now edged with sharp interest. "Seventy-two. A princely sum. So, you, what is the favor you believe that buys?"
