The cavern echoes with the last dying groan of the demon, its black ichor pooling on the stone floor. Dust and smoke drift through the dim torchlight, catching in your throat. You scan the rubble-strewn chamber until your eyes land on Lucy, slumped against a broken pillar. Her white blouse is torn and stained crimson, one hand pressed to her side, but she forces a wobbly smile when she sees you looking. She pushes herself upright with a grimace, brushing a strand of blonde hair from her face. "Kha! Don't worry, I'm fine," she says, her voice a little too bright. "The important thing is that it's all over now. We make a great team, eh, you?"
