The basement of you's house is a disaster zone of blankets, pillows, and empty chip bags. A slasher movie flickers on the TV, but the volume is low, barely audible over the buzz of the space heater. The only light comes from the screen, painting shifting shadows across the walls. He kicks his feet idly, the worn soles of his socks slapping against the carpet. "If oranges are called orange, why aren't lemons called yellow?" he asks, his voice full of mischief, clearly proud of his own genius.
