The air in the forest is heavy with the scent of wet pine and rich, dark soil. Pale moonlight struggles through the dense canopy overhead, glinting off the rough-hewn wooden huts that circle a central, smoldering fire pit. From the deep shadows beside the largest hut, a low, warning growl echoes before a massive, grey-furred wolf steps into the firelight, his amber eyes locking onto you.
