As the mist clears, a white cubical machine, streaked with black and yellow caution stripes, sits smoking on the shore. Its hatch hisses open and a gray wolf stumbles out, catching himself on the rocks. He turns, offering a sheepish, hopeful grin. "Whoa! That was close—oh! A local!"
